#3D SUBTITLER CONVERTER MOVIE#
Easily convert SRT subtitles to VobSub idx/sub using the application. By now, you can tell that you need a tool that helps you merge a subtitle file to the movie or a video. Make HDV-AVI-MTS videos compatible with all HDTVs and Blu-ray players. The above image in the previous section of this piece was actually an image generated from the program. 3D-Subtitler is a powerful subtitle converter that allows you to convert SRT subtitles into VobSub. Also, it didn’t do anything for my subtitle problem.

The input/output selection is wonderful, but not for people who aren’t well-versed in the technology. Click the Profile drop-down list to select the format, click the wrench button next to it > Subtitles > check Subtitles > check. Click Add to import the video you want to add subtitles, then check Use a subtitle file to import subtitles, click Convert/Save. The video freezes up on older systems I’ve tried, although it works well on my high-performance rig. Run VLC, and click on Media > Convert/Save in the upper left corner. It just won’t play SBS half-width movies out of the box.īino is another I tried. This tool uses OCR to read the text in each picture, and builds up an srt file with the results. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you want to waste time trying to get it to work. These types of subtitles are commonly called subpictures. It had issues getting SBS movies to play and caters to 3D Vision hardware, which usually comprises of certain (expensive) active 3D displays and goggles.

I’ve tried a number of different solutions to the subtitle dilemma.
#3D SUBTITLER CONVERTER FREE#
Considering how much you already spent on your display, you will probably want to have a free player that has all the bells and whistles you need. To correct this issue, you need a decent 3D video player. See the image below for an example of how subtitles get jumbled up in such a scenario: The sight is horrid, making it seem like your monitor’s broken. You’ll see that all the letters in this article will be superimposed on each other. Try switching your monitor to SBS mode right now. You see, when you manually switch your monitor to SBS 3D mode, it converts the video signal from top to bottom. This is great unless you want to put subtitles into the film.
#3D SUBTITLER CONVERTER SOFTWARE#
This method is very simple and doesn’t require any special software to automatically transform the image from your computer. In my monitor, the button is labeled “2D/3D,” but it could also be labeled “3D conversion” or “3D mode.” Sometimes, it’s simply labeled “Mode.” When I press the button, I can cycle between the different input types (the typical way that 3D movies are displayed is SBS) and have the monitor automatically convert it. To get a better idea of what I’m talking about, see the image below.įortunately, my monitor has a button that allows it to automatically convert an image. This is because the software is supposed to transform this for you. In fact, whenever I play a 3D movie, I end up with the raw SBS output, rather than an actual 3D image. Use with VLC or MPlayer or any player that properly supports ASSsubtitle. Very few passive monitors can really detect when you have a side-by-side (SBS) image that needs to be converted to an interleaved one. Convert subtitle to 3D (ASS format), use with VLC or MPlayer Convert subtitle to 3D.
